Hyderabad: Billtrust Hyderabad GCC opened at Raheja Mindspace in Madhapur, formally marking the B2B cash-generation platform’s entry into India. Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu inaugurated the facility. Billtrust CEO Grant Halloran and members of the company’s global leadership team also attended.
The centre spans more than 40,000 sq ft and currently has capacity for 250 employees. However, Billtrust planned to build a 1,000-member Hyderabad team over the next three years. The company backed the expansion plan with an investment commitment of Rs 450 crore.
Country Head Farhad H. Baria led the India GCC, which had already reached 100 employees within six months. The centre focused on engineering, artificial intelligence and operations to support Billtrust’s global platform.
Billtrust served around 2,600 B2B suppliers and 14 million buyers worldwide. Moreover, its platform processed more than $1 trillion in annual trade credit volume.
Billtrust Hyderabad GCC focuses on technology talent
Sridhar Babu highlighted Hyderabad’s deep technology talent pool during the inauguration. He also urged Billtrust to use the ecosystem supported by T-Hub and the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge.
“Telangana will be a partner in your progress,” the Minister said. He assured the company of continued government support as it expanded in the state. Meanwhile, Halloran said Hyderabad’s technical talent, infrastructure and industry-friendly ecosystem influenced Billtrust’s long-term commitment to Telangana.
The Billtrust Hyderabad GCC will support the company’s global operations through its engineering, AI and operational teams.
