Hyderabad: Two young men died on Saturday night after a speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle on the national highway near Raghavapur in Station Ghanpur mandal, Jangaon district. The accident occurred while they were riding to their native village to vote in the panchayat elections.
Locals alerted the police, who reached the scene quickly and began investigating. The victims were Burra Kalyan (27) and Burra Naveen (27), both from Nandanam village in Ainavolu mandal, Hanumakonda district.
Police said the vehicle that struck the bike did not stop. The impact killed both men instantly. Authorities took their bodies to a government hospital for post-mortem and registered a case.
