Fire breaks out in Jaipur Express coaches at Nampally station

Hyderabad: A fire broke out on Friday evening in two coaches of the Hyderabad-Jaipur Express at Nampally railway station in Hyderabad.

Railway officials said the fire occurred in the B1 and B2 coaches while the train was stationed at the platform before departure.

The train was scheduled to leave at 7.30 pm. However, flames erupted in the coaches at around 6.20 pm.

Officials noticed smoke emerging from the bogies and immediately alerted the Fire Department and HYDRAA control room.

Jaipur Express fire brought under control

HYDRAA Disaster Response Force personnel and Fire Department teams rushed to the station and brought the fire under control.

Officials said there were no passengers inside the affected coaches at the time of the incident.

As a result, no injuries or casualties were reported in the Express fire.

Railway authorities are expected to examine the cause of the fire.
