HYDRAA, CMC commissioners inspect Sunnam Cheruvu ahead of CM’s inauguration

Hyderabad: HYDRAA and CMC commissioners A.V. Ranganath and Srujana inspected Sunnam Cheruvu on Friday evening and reviewed arrangements for its inauguration on the ground. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the lake either at the end of this month or early next month. HYDRAA has restored the lake as one of its prestigious projects.

The commissioners reviewed the works carried out at the lake, from fixing the FTL boundaries over about 20 acres and desilting to fencing. They also inspected the high bund built around the lake and the walking tracks.

About 30 acres around Sunnam Cheruvu developed after clearing encroachments

The officials checked the fencing on the inner side of the lake and along the outer side of the pathway. They reviewed the development of about 30 acres covering the lake and its surroundings after the removal of encroachments.

The commissioners examined the parks, open gyms, seating gazebos and boating jetties being developed beside the lake. HYDRAA Additional Commissioner Anand, ACP Tirumal and CMC officials took part in the field inspection.
