HYDERABAD: A speeding cab created havoc in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on Monday morning. The vehicle lost control and crashed into a metro pillar and a road divider before coming to a sudden halt across the road. The impact of the accident left the driver severely injured.
Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and immediately shifted the injured driver to a hospital. Officials stated that the accident occurred while the cab was traveling from Krishna Nagar toward the Jubilee Hills Check Post.
The severity of the crash caused the rear tire of the car to break off. The sudden incident triggered panic among locals, who ran for safety. Preliminary suspicions suggest that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
