Hyderabad: The District Election Officer (DEO), Hyderabad, has urged electors to link mobile number with their Voter ID before submitting Enumeration Forms online under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
In a post on X, the DEO said voters can update or connect their Aadhaar-linked mobile number with their EPIC (Voter ID) through the Voters’ Portal. Meanwhile, they can use the same mobile number to submit the Enumeration Form online.
Link mobile number with Voter ID before online submission
The DEO advised voters to ensure that the names in their Aadhaar and electoral roll match. Further, voters should first update their mobile number with their Voter ID. They should then submit the Enumeration Form online using the same mobile number.
The DEO said the facility makes the electoral verification process faster, easier and more convenient. Additionally, he urged voters to keep their electoral details updated to help maintain an accurate and transparent electoral roll.
He also appealed to citizens to participate in the exercise. Finally, he said updated voter information strengthens democracy.
