Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS leader G. Jagadish Reddy on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of ignorance and using language unbecoming of a constitutional office.
Addressing the media, Jagadish Reddy criticised remarks made by the Chief Minister during a recent public meeting at Miryalaguda. He alleged that instead of raising public issues, Revanth Reddy was resorting to abusive and provocative language.
Referring to the Chief Minister’s comments on Harvard University, the BRS leader said knowledge usually increased through education. He alleged that Revanth Reddy had “lost whatever knowledge he had acquired at Harvard,” triggering a fresh political controversy.

Jagadish Reddy further accused the Congress government of making baseless allegations to divert public attention from governance failures. He alleged that development carried out during the tenure of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was being deliberately undermined.
He claimed that people were growing disillusioned with what he described as false promises made by the ruling party. According to him, public dissatisfaction was steadily increasing across the state.
The BRS leader also appealed to voters to support party candidates in the upcoming municipal elections. He expressed confidence that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi would secure a clear victory in Suryapet municipality.
