Harish Rao demands judicial probe into Group-1 exam irregularities

Hyderabad: Former minister T. Harish Rao demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting judge into the irregularities in Group-1 examinations. Speaking at a mega job mela in Siddipet, he alleged that instead of correcting mistakes, ministers and officials sought huge bribes from unemployed youth for posts.

Harish Rao criticised the government for considering another appeal in the Group-1 case. He said such a move was shameful.

The BRS leader also targeted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said Revanth misled unemployed youth by promising two lakh jobs at Ashok Nagar in the presence of Rahul Gandhi but failed to deliver.

Harish Rao pledged to fight on behalf of unemployed youth. He said the opposition will raise the issue in the Assembly and hold the government accountable. “I will continue the struggle until justice is done,” he said.
