German language skills can unlock global career opportunities: Vivek Venkataswamy
Hyderabad: German language training can help young people access international employment opportunities and build successful global careers, State Minister Dr G. Vivek Venkataswamy said on Monday.
The minister interacted with students and faculty members undergoing German language training at the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM) office in Hyderabad.
He said TOMCOM is conducting specialised German language courses for youth aspiring to secure jobs in Germany.
According to the minister, proficiency in foreign languages can significantly improve employment prospects in international markets.
German language training boosts overseas employment prospects
Vivek Venkataswamy said Germany offers attractive career opportunities in sectors such as nursing and engineering.
He noted that learning a new language and securing employment in a developed country can open new avenues for young professionals.
Furthermore, he said the recently launched German language classes in Mandamarri received an encouraging response.
Around 200 young people have already enrolled in the course at the Mandamarri centre, he added.
The minister said officials are continuously monitoring student attendance and improving the quality of training.
He observed that language proficiency often becomes a major barrier for candidates seeking overseas employment.
Therefore, students should focus on mastering the language and developing strong communication skills.
Discipline and practice key to language proficiency
Vivek Venkataswamy advised students not to miss classes and to attend training sessions regularly.
He said disciplined learning and consistent participation would help them acquire advanced language skills.
Moreover, he stressed that continuous practice remains the key to mastering any language.
The minister expressed confidence that such training programmes would create better employment opportunities for youth.
He added that foreign language skills would also help students build successful careers in the global job market.
