Hyderabad: A Dilawarpur burglary targeted two houses in Dilawarpur mandal headquarters on Tuesday night, with masked thieves escaping after stealing cash and gold. According to the victims, the burglars stole ₹40,000 in cash and one tola of gold from the house of Gouri Poshetti.
They also targeted the nearby residence of Garadi Muthyam. However, the exact value of the property stolen from that house was not immediately known. CCTV cameras captured the suspects moving around the locality while wearing masks.
Moreover, the footage showed the accused covering their faces during the burglary. Following a complaint from the victims, Dilawarpur SI Ravinder visited the scene and conducted a preliminary inspection.

The victims said they had saved the stolen money through daily wage work. Consequently, they expressed distress over the loss. Meanwhile, police registered a case and launched an investigation to identify and trace the accused. The investigation into the Dilawarpur burglary is underway.
