Hyderabad: Telangana Director General of Police C.V. Anand on Monday ordered a major DGP Office revamp after conducting a three-hour inspection of various floors and sections at the DGP Office.
During the inspection, the DGP directed officials to improve cleanliness, workspace management and operational efficiency across departments.
He ordered painting of walls, almirahs and office tables as part of the DGP Office revamp exercise. He also instructed staff to shift unused files to the record room to improve space management.
Officials discussed plans to redesign the conference hall, training hall and other sections to ensure better utilisation of available office space.
Senior police officers briefed the DGP on departmental activities and performance during the inspection.

Senior officials including DG (Law and Order) Mahesh M. Bhagwat, DG (Organisation and Home Guards) Swati Lakra, DG (Technical Services) V.V. Srinivasa Rao and DG (CID) Charu Sinha attended the review.
IGs Chandrasekhar Reddy and Gajarao Bhupal also briefed the DGP on the activities and functioning of their respective departments.
The inspection continued for nearly three hours as the DGP reviewed multiple sections and discussed measures to improve office functioning.
