Congress work leaves no space for others, says Bhatti Vikramarka in Madhira

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu said that if the Congress party continued to recount its development work, no other political party would have a future in the country. He urged party leaders to focus on securing victory in the Madhira Municipality elections by highlighting Madhira Congress development to voters.

Addressing a special meeting of key Congress leaders at Madupalli in the Madhira municipal limits on Friday, Bhatti Vikramarka said rival parties repeatedly spoke about works carried out decades ago. Meanwhile, Congress workers hesitated to publicise recent achievements. He said this reluctance was hurting the party politically despite extensive welfare and development initiatives.

The Deputy Chief Minister advised Congress cadres to explain to at least 10 people every day the benefits delivered under the Congress government. He cited schemes such as ration cards, fine rice distribution, Arogyasri health coverage, free electricity up to 200 units and free RTC bus travel for women as examples of Madhira Congress development. These benefits must reach every household.

He said only leaders committed to keeping Madhira clean and green should be elected. This commitment is crucial, as development alone would secure a better future for the coming generations. He asserted that there was no major development work left pending in the town under Congress rule.

Infrastructure works reflect Madhira Congress development, says Bhatti

Listing key projects, Bhatti Vikramarka said Madhira had seen underground drainage systems, underground electricity lines, and the transformation of lakes into tourism parks. He also referred to the construction of permanent buildings for degree colleges, intermediate colleges, and high schools. Additionally, he mentioned the establishment of an agriculture polytechnic and a general polytechnic.

He said the ITI had been upgraded into an advanced technology centre. Moreover, facilities such as a bus stand, treasury, and banks had been brought to the town. He stressed that voters needed to be clearly informed about these achievements of Madhira Congress development.

Explaining delays in some works, the Deputy Chief Minister compared the current phase to a house under construction. In such projects, initial disorder gives way to a finished structure. He noted that underground drainage works were in progress. Additionally, officials had been instructed to refill soil wherever works were completed. He added that new CC roads would be laid across Madhira after the drainage works were finished.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the underground drainage system would ensure scientific treatment of sewage at treatment plants. At the same time, rainwater would be diverted through a separate drainage network. He concluded that electing Congress candidates in the Madhira Municipality was essential to complete development works. This action would secure long-term benefits for future generations.
