Congress will win Jubilee Hills bypoll with huge margin, says Jupally

Hyderabad: Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Friday asserted that the Congress party will win the Jubilee Hills by-election with a large majority. He rejected the BRS campaign as baseless and aimed at misleading voters.

Jupally accuses BRS of using Baaki cards to confuse voters

Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Jupally criticised BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and other leaders for running what he called a deceptive campaign. According to him, the Baaki card initiative was a tactic to divert attention from BRS’s failures.

“They are using fake media channels and social media to spread lies against the Congress. However, the people are not buying into this narrative,” he said.

He further attacked the BRS record in governance, blaming former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for pushing Telangana into financial distress. “He left behind ₹8 lakh crore in debt. Because of that, the current government is now forced to pay thousands of crores annually in interest,” he said.

Highlighting the government’s achievements, Jupally stated that Congress has delivered significant progress in just two years. “We still have three years to go. Yet, we’ve already achieved what BRS couldn’t do in ten years,” he said.

He added that the Congress administration is focused on people-first policies and financial responsibility. “We are correcting the damage done by the previous regime and staying committed to the promises we made,” he said.
