CM lays foundation for ₹600 crore residential schools, other key projects in Nizamabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday laid the foundation stone for integrated residential schools worth ₹600 crore in Nizamabad district. The schools, part of the Young India initiative, will be constructed in Armoor, Bodhan, and Nizamabad Rural Assembly constituencies at a cost of ₹200 crore each.

The Chief Minister also launched several other development works across the district during his visit, which was held as part of the ‘Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata’ public outreach programme.

Major infrastructure boost for Telangana University and welfare institutions

Revanth Reddy addressed a public meeting in Bardipur village, Dichpally mandal, after the foundation ceremonies. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive development and highlighted the state’s ongoing welfare programmes.

At the event, the CM handed over a ₹200 crore bank linkage cheque to the Induru District Women’s Federation, which includes 1,614 self-help groups.

He also announced that Nizamabad district would receive full support to complete irrigation projects. “Nizamabad’s agriculture sets an example for the nation. I will do everything possible to allocate additional funds for its development,” he said.

Senior leaders attend foundation events

Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao, government advisor P. Sudarshan Reddy, and senior Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir attended the ceremonies, along with other public representatives from the region.
