SCR GM reviews railway station facilities at Lingampally and Ramachandrapuram

Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted an SCR GM review of passenger facilities and infrastructure at Lingampally and Ramachandrapuram railway stations under Secunderabad division on Saturday.

He inspected Lingampally station along with senior officials and reviewed key amenities. These included waiting halls, ticketing systems, lifts, platforms and cleanliness. He also examined track conditions, maintenance systems and operational efficiency.

Officials briefed him on ongoing and proposed expansion works at the station. They outlined plans aimed at improving capacity and passenger convenience.

SCR GM review covers amenities and expansion plans

During the SCR GM review, Srivastava assessed how facilities were functioning on the ground. He emphasised the need to maintain high standards in passenger services and station upkeep.

Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Divisional Railway Manager of Secunderabad division, accompanied him during the inspection. Other senior railway officials also took part in the review.

The General Manager evaluated maintenance practices and reviewed operational systems. He also checked whether existing infrastructure met current passenger demands.

SCR GM review extends to Ramachandrapuram station upgrades

Later, Srivastava visited Ramachandrapuram railway station and continued the SCR GM review. He inspected passenger amenities and discussed future development plans with officials.

He examined the scope for infrastructure upgrades and service improvements at the station. The review focused on enhancing commuter experience and operational efficiency.

During the visit, he also interacted with media representatives. He highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and improve railway services across the South Central Railway zone.

The inspection formed part of regular monitoring to ensure better service delivery. Through the SCR GM review, railway authorities aimed to accelerate development works and maintain standards across key stations in the division.
