CM Revanth Reddy congratulates Hyderabad Heroes on Rugby Premier League title

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Heroes won the HSBC Rugby Premier League 2026 title after defeating Mumbai Dreamers 41-17 in the final at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the team on its championship victory.

Following the match, the Chief Minister presented the Rugby Premier League 2026 trophy to captain Manuel Moreno. He appreciated the team’s performance throughout the tournament and congratulated the players on lifting the title.

Meanwhile, several prominent personalities attended the championship clash. They included actor Chiranjeevi, Rugby India President Rahul Bose, GMR Corporate Chairman Grandhi Kiran Kumar, badminton star P.V. Sindhu, Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Shiva Sena Reddy and actress Mrunal Thakur.

Further, the team dominated the final and secured a comprehensive 41-17 victory over Mumbai Dreamers. Consequently, the franchise emerged as champions of the HSBC Rugby Premier League Season 2.
