Chief Secretary reviews Praja Paalana Pragati Pranalika implementation

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju reviewed the implementation of the Praja Paalana Pragati Pranalika programme, which the State conducted from March 6 to June 12. He assessed department-wise initiatives and reviewed the outcomes achieved across Telangana.

Officials presented detailed reports on activities carried out from the district level to Gram Panchayats. Nodal officers also briefed the Chief Secretary on issues identified during field visits. They highlighted innovative practices adopted by district administrations that delivered positive results.

Sanjay Jaju directed nodal officers to discuss key issues with District Collectors. He asked them to identify matters requiring immediate attention. He also instructed officials to prioritise both financial and non-financial issues for timely action.

The Chief Secretary stressed that departments should focus on low-cost works capable of delivering significant public benefits. He said such initiatives should receive priority to improve governance and public service delivery.

Planning Secretary Gaurav Uppal gave a detailed presentation on the 99-Day Programme. He outlined the progress achieved under various components of the initiative.

Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, nodal officers and other senior officials attended the review meeting.
