Hyderabad: A Ramanthapur accident on Monday morning left a car severely damaged after it rammed into the rear of a TGSRTC bus near the Polytechnic College bus stop.
According to available information, the RTC bus was travelling from Uppal to Mehdipatnam. It had stopped at the bus stop in Ramanthapur to pick up passengers.
A speeding car approaching from behind crashed into the stationary bus.
The impact caused extensive damage to the front portion of the car. The engine compartment also became lodged beneath the rear of the bus.

Police officials said the bus was stationary when the collision occurred.
The condition of the car driver was not immediately known. However, initial reports indicated that he escaped without serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the accident did not cause any reported injuries to passengers on the bus.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. They are examining whether overspeeding or other factors led to the crash.
