BRS leader Manne Krishank slams CM Revanth Reddy over case on KTR

Hyderabad: BRS leader Manne Krishank accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of filing a case against K.T. Rama Rao out of political insecurity. Moreover, he argued that the action lacked merit and aimed only to discredit KTR. He said Formula E racing brought major investments into Telangana and strengthened the state’s global image.

Krishank explained that Formula E acted as a strong driver for new industries rather than a simple event. As a result, the state attracted nearly ₹700 crore in investments. He said more events would have drawn even higher investments if the government had continued them. Additionally, he alleged that Revanth halted the event only because it could boost the reputations of KCR and KTR.

BRS leader Manne Krishank questions investment agreements

Krishank claimed that the Formula E FIR failed to mention corruption. He said the Chief Minister announced in the Assembly that the event organiser offered him a bribe. However, he asked why the CM never approached any investigative body if he had such evidence. He also argued that Revanth targeted KTR because the BRS leader spoke confidently about India and Telangana on international platforms.

He accused the government of signing investment deals with what he described as “bogus companies.” Furthermore, he cited the example of Mankeymn Bio, which signed a ₹345-crore agreement despite being registered with only ₹1 lakh capital. He said such an agreement raised doubts and demanded a clear probe. He also asked investigators to identify which minister backed the agreement.

Krishank said the government repeated similar deals in the past and created public suspicion. He pointed to agreements linked to Revanth Reddy’s brother and other firms that lacked credibility. Moreover, he questioned why enforcement bodies had not examined these transactions. He insisted that agencies must investigate each agreement and expose any wrongdoing.

The BRS leader added that industries brought through KTR’s efforts stood visible from Adilabad to Hyderabad. Yet, he said not a single industry appeared from the investments claimed by the present government. He argued that instead of targeting KTR, the administration should act against those promoting questionable deals. He said people continued to watch every move and expected fair action.
