Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Sena launch drew a response from Bharat Rashtra Samithi, which issued a sharp social media counter within hours.
The party shared images comparing original brands such as Colgate and Bisleri with lookalike products. Moreover, it posted the message “Original is always original,” signalling its stand without naming anyone directly.
Telangana Rashtra Sena triggers BRS counter
BRS released the post soon after K. Kavitha announced her party at a public meeting in Medchal district. In addition, the post quickly gained traction on social media.
Party cadres amplified the message and drew parallels with duplicate products. Moreover, they said people could distinguish between original and imitation brands.
They argued that attempts to use familiar names for quick gains would not mislead the public. Therefore, the posts suggested that voters would identify the difference between established and new entities.
The exchange followed Kavitha’s announcement at a large public meeting in Munirabad. Moreover, the naming triggered political reactions across the state.
