BJP MLAs demand completion of ROB works in Nizamabad district

Hyderabad: BJP MLAs Rakesh Reddy (Armur) and Dhanpal Surya Narayana Gupta (Nizamabad Urban) urged the state government to complete the pending Road Over Bridge (ROB) works in Nizamabad district. They raised the demand on Friday while protesting during Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to the district.

BJP MLAs stopped by police during protest

The two BJP legislators, along with district president Dinesh Kulachari and local leaders, tried to meet the Chief Minister. They wanted to brief him on major public issues in the district. However, police stopped them near the BJP office.
The leaders said they planned to explain the problems caused by the delay in ROB works at Adavi Mamidipalli, Madhav Nagar, and Arsapalli.

BJP alleges fund delay for crucial projects

The BJP leaders alleged that the state government had not released funds for these important works. They said incomplete bridges were troubling the public and affecting daily transport. “We wanted to meet the Chief Minister and submit the facts, but police stopped us,” Rakesh Reddy said.

BJP leaders stage protest wearing black badges

Mild tension followed when BJP workers had a brief scuffle with police. Later, the MLAs, district president, and several local leaders held a sit-in protest in front of the Collector’s office.
Wearing black badges, they raised slogans against the government and demanded immediate release of funds. The leaders said the state must act quickly to complete the pending projects for public convenience.
