Bhatti assures swift action on employee issues, Cabinet review soon

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka had assured employee issues cabinet review, promising swift action on long-pending demands raised by government staff.

He made the statement during a meeting with employee union leaders at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan on Friday. The employee issues cabinet review formed the central focus of discussions.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the government remained committed to resolving employee concerns with sincerity and responsibility. He added that staff played a crucial role in governance.

Employee issues cabinet review discussed with unions

During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with leaders of various employee unions. He listened to their concerns and offered positive assurances.

He said employees acted as a bridge between the government and the public. Therefore, their role remained essential in delivering welfare schemes at the grassroots level.

Union leaders welcomed the government’s approach. They noted improved financial discipline alongside employee welfare measures.

They appreciated the timely payment of salaries on the first of every month. In addition, they highlighted the allocation of ₹1,000 crore monthly to clear pending dues of retired employees.

Employee issues cabinet review to cover PRC and DA

Key issues raised included the implementation of the Pay Revision Commission and pending Dearness Allowance. Health card concerns also featured in the discussions.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the Cabinet Sub-Committee would examine these matters in detail. He assured that a decision would be communicated soon.

He further said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was taking a positive view on employee issues. Therefore, all demands would be placed before him for consideration.

Leaders of the Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee attended the meeting. Representatives from various departments and senior officials also participated.
