Akhilesh Yadav meets CM Revanth, attends Sadar Sammelan in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday at his Jubilee Hills residence. The two leaders discussed national political developments and the ongoing welfare programmes in Telangana.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy outlined several state-level initiatives launched under the Congress government. Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, Ramagundam MLA Raj Thakur, and Congress leader Rohit Reddy also joined the meeting.

Sadar Sammelan sees unity beyond party lines

Later in the day, Akhilesh Yadav attended a grand Sadar Sammelan held at the MLA Quarters in Hyderabad. Serving as the chief guest, he addressed a large gathering. He said leaders may represent different parties but stand united when it comes to celebrating community and culture. He encouraged organisers to make future Sadar events even more vibrant.

On national politics, he asserted that the BJP was losing ground in Uttar Pradesh. He claimed the NDA government at the Centre would not have returned to power without Andhra Pradesh’s support. Expressing optimism, he said the Samajwadi Party flag would rise again in the upcoming UP Assembly elections.
