ACB bribe trap linked to quality control certificates
The ACB said Sai Ram had sought Rs 10,000 for facilitating a certificate already issued for the complainant’s first contract work. He also allegedly sought the money to issue a quality control certificate for the second contract work.
City Range-1 ACB officials subsequently conducted the ACB bribe trap and caught the officer while allegedly accepting the money. Officials recovered the Rs 10,000 bribe amount from Sai Ram’s possession at his instance.
