Bhadrachalam Temple, Forest Zone in Focus
Tummala emphasised the urgent need to improve devotee services at the Bhadrachalam Ram temple. He noted that upgraded infrastructure would attract more pilgrims and ease pressure on local services.
The ministers also pushed for quick finalisation of eco-tourism plans for a 500-acre forest zone near Khammam town. They directed officials to identify suitable segments for phased development.
Field Visits, Funding, CM Visit
Officials from the tourism department and the district collector must now conduct on-site inspections. They were told to prepare ready-to-approve proposals for funding, either through state support or private partnerships.
Tummala and Jupally urged quick inter-departmental coordination to avoid delays.
They also reviewed the itinerary and logistics for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s scheduled visit to Khammam next month. All necessary arrangements must be completed in time.
