Hyderabad: A man allegedly killed his two young sons and later died by suicide on the outskirts of Torrur town in Mahabubabad district on Monday night, police said.
The Torrur suicide case occurred near a cauliflower field opposite the agricultural market in Torrur. Police identified the man as Kinnera Gunshavali, 35, of Amapuram village.
Police said Gunshavali had reportedly faced severe mental distress due to family disputes. Therefore, he allegedly hanged his two sons from a neem tree before ending his life at the same spot.
Torrur CI Ganesh and SI Upender reached the location with staff after receiving information about the incident. Subsequently, police examined the scene and found three bodies hanging from the neem tree.
Police shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, they registered a case and began an investigation.
