Telangana RTI team meets Revanth Reddy after completing one year in office

Hyderabad: The Telangana RTI team, led by State Chief Information Commissioner Chandrashekhar Reddy, met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Friday and briefed him on activities undertaken under the Right to Information framework during the past year.

The delegation included Information Commissioners Boreddy Ayodhya Reddy, P.V. Srinivas and Deshala Bhupal.

The meeting took place as the Information Commissioners completed one year in office.

According to officials, the Telangana RTI team paid a courtesy call on the Chief Minister and provided an overview of initiatives and activities carried out under the RTI mechanism during their tenure.

During the interaction, the commissioners apprised Revanth Reddy of the work undertaken by the State Information Commission over the past year.

They highlighted activities conducted under the RTI framework since assuming office and discussed matters related to transparency and information access.

The meeting marked the completion of one year in office for the present team of Information Commissioners.

Officials said the RTI team used the occasion to brief the Chief Minister on its functioning and progress during the period.
