Telangana celebrates Minister Vivek Venkatswamy’s birthday with welfare drives

Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy’s birthday sparked statewide celebrations in Telangana on Sunday, as communities and party workers led welfare efforts across key towns.

Residents of Mancherial, Chennur, Peddapally, and Karimnagar organised blood donation camps, community meals, and clothing drives. Party members took the lead in these events, while several NGOs and civil groups joined in large numbers. Their combined efforts aimed to honour the Minister’s public service.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, cabinet ministers, and political leaders shared their greetings through social media. They praised Dr. Vivek for promoting inclusive development and active leadership.

In Ramagundam, the Lions Club held a food distribution event. Meanwhile, artists in Mandamarri offered sweaters to sanitation workers. Members of the Auto Union also gathered to thank Dr. Vivek for his support toward labour rights and vulnerable communities.

According to party leaders, Dr. Vivek continues to focus on uplifting marginalised communities, drawing inspiration from Kaka Venkatswamy.

In Chennur, community members performed special pujas and prayer services for his well-being. Volunteers distributed blankets to people experiencing homelessness. Muslim leaders held a dua, while the Christian community conducted a service to mark the occasion.

Mancherial hosted another blood donation camp, while several neighbourhoods across Mandamarri, Peddapally, and Ramagundam conducted local events. Residents credited Dr. Vivek’s direct involvement for many development projects. Many expressed hope for his continued leadership and good health.
