Hyderabad: Telangana medicine supply would remain accessible during the nationwide chemists’ bandh on May 20, the Drugs Control Administration said.
The assurance came after the DCA held a meeting with the Telangana chapter of the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists.

Officials said hospital-attached pharmacies would stay open. Meanwhile, district chemist associations would coordinate with Drug Inspectors to arrange emergency medicines wherever needed.
Corporate pharmacy chains, including Apollo Pharmacy and MedPlus, were also advised to keep outlets operational during the bandh.
The DCA said all field officers were directed to remain alert. They were also told to respond quickly to medicine shortages and public grievances.
Citizens facing difficulty in getting medicines can contact local Drugs Control officials through details available on the official DCA website.
