Hyderabad: Rain is set to return to several parts of Telangana from July 26, ending the recent break in the monsoon, according to Telangana Weatherman. The Telangana heavy rainfall forecast points to increased rain activity across northern, western, eastern and central districts.
El Niño triggered a prolonged dry spell across the State over the past few days. However, Telangana Weatherman said the dry conditions would end by Saturday. Rainfall is expected to increase from Sunday.
Telangana heavy rainfall to cover several districts
The latest forecast predicts moderate rainfall across northern, eastern, western and central Telangana. It also forecasts isolated heavy rain in parts of the northern districts.
From Friday afternoon until night, Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak and Siddipet districts may receive light to moderate showers.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad and several other districts will mostly experience dry weather. A few places may receive brief light showers during the same period.
Residents should follow the latest weather updates because rainfall activity is expected to increase from July 26.
