Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards (TGFA) – 2025. It is inviting submissions for Telugu and Urdu films certified between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
The Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited (TGFDC) issued a notification seeking entries from film producers and government agencies across the globe. Eligible categories include feature films, debut works, children’s films, animation, special effects, and films focusing on national integration. Additionally, films with social messages, heritage, and wholesome entertainment are eligible.
The awards also include categories for individual artists and technicians, short films, documentary films, as well as books and critical articles on Telugu cinema.
Application forms, along with rules and regulations, are available from January 21, 2026, at the TGFDC office. The forms can be obtained by paying ₹5,900 (inclusive of 18% GST) via Demand Draft or UPI. Payment is payable to the Managing Director, Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited, Hyderabad.
The deadline for purchasing entry forms is January 31, 2026, by 3 PM. Completed entries must be submitted by February 3, 2026, at 3 PM at the TGFDC office in Hyderabad.
