Hyderabad: The Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) expressed profound grief over the reported death of veteran filmmaker, actor and writer K. Bhagyaraj. TFDC Chairman Dil Raju and Managing Director and Information and Public Relations Special Commissioner Dr. G. Mukunda Reddy conveyed their condolences in a joint statement.
They said the K. Bhagyaraj death was a great loss to the Indian film industry, noting that he had made outstanding contributions to Telugu and Tamil cinema as a director, actor and screenwriter.

The officials also said Bhagyaraj shared a special bond with Telugu audiences and that his contributions to cinema would continue to inspire future generations.
