Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, met at the Secretariat on Monday and cleared several key proposals.
Sources said the Cabinet decided to hand over full cabinet minutes from the previous BRS government to the P.C. Ghose Commission, which is probing alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project.
The meeting was attended by newly inducted ministers G. Vivek, A. Laxman Kumar and V. Srihari.
The Cabinet also approved the installation of Telangana Talli statues at all district collectorates and endorsed a new state sports policy.
Celebrations will be held across Telangana on Tuesday to mark the successful disbursal of financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
The Cabinet discussed a strategy to oppose the construction of the illegal Bankacharla project by Andhra Pradesh on the Godavari River.
Deliberations were also held on local body elections, clearance of pending Indiramma housing proposals, issuing new ration cards, finalising alignment for the Regional Ring Road, and land issues involving the Housing Board property at Bagh Lingampally in Hyderabad.
