Talasani assures support to Dasaram Basti residents

Hyderabad: Former minister and Sanath Nagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav assured residents of Dasaram Basti that he would stand by them in all respects. He also urged them not to lose morale amid complaints of attacks and illegal constructions in their locality.

On Friday, hut dwellers from Dasaram Basti met the MLA at his camp office in West Marredpally. During the meeting, they submitted a representation outlining their problems. The residents alleged that Inturi Ramesh and a few others had taken up illegal constructions in the basti. However, when locals tried to stop the work, the accused allegedly brought hired rowdies. As a result, several residents suffered injuries in the attack.

Responding immediately, Talasani Srinivas Yadav assured the victims that he would work to ensure justice. Subsequently, he wrote letters to the GHMC Commissioner and the District Collector. In addition, he approached the SC and ST Commission and the Human Rights Commission. Through these letters, he sought the immediate removal of illegal constructions and strict action against those responsible.
