Hyderabad: Doctors shifted two suspected Ebola patients from a private hospital to Gandhi Hospital after identifying symptoms associated with the virus and noting their travel history to African countries.
The development prompted health authorities to place the situation under close watch.
Doctors referred the patients to Gandhi Hospital, the state’s nodal centre for handling such cases.
Medical teams admitted the two individuals to a special isolation ward and began monitoring their condition.
