Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, on Friday called upon the Youth Congress to take the lead in spreading Rahul Gandhi’s ideological message and the Congress Party’s foundational values across the nation, positioning it as a counter to what he termed the “authoritarian” rule of the BJP at the Centre.
He made these remarks during a visit to the “White T-Shirt” training camp organised under the leadership of Telangana Youth Congress President Jakkidi Shiva Charan Reddy at the Child Development Center in Keesara, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Addressing the participants, Sridhar Babu described the “White T-Shirt” initiative, launched by Rahul Gandhi, as a symbolic and strategic campaign rooted in five core principles: compassion, unity, non-violence, equality, and inclusive progress. He said the white t-shirt had become a metaphor for a political movement grounded in these values.
He praised the Youth Congress as the backbone of the party and emphasised its growing influence in national politics. “It is the strength and resolve of the youth that will determine the future direction of this country,” he said, urging the cadre to dedicate themselves fully to the party’s mission.
Sridhar Babu further called on the youth to work with focus and commitment to help return the Congress Party to power and support Rahul Gandhi as a future prime minister.
The camp was also attended by Medchal-Malkajgiri District Congress Committee President Harivardhan Reddy, TPCC Vice President Vajresh Yadav, State Youth Congress In-Charge Syed Khalid, National Youth Congress Secretary Shravan Rao, and other senior leaders including Nitesh Kumar.
