Hyderabad: Shaligouraram Sub-Inspector D. Saidaiah on Thursday called on the public to make use of the upcoming Special Lok Adalat session on November 15 to resolve disputes quickly and amicably.
Speaking to reporters at the local police station, he said both parties win when they reach a compromise. “If only one fights, only one wins. If both settle, both win,” he remarked, describing compromise as the “royal path to justice.”
Lok Adalat dispute resolution enables faster, mutual settlements
He said the Special Lok Adalat, scheduled at the Nakrekal Court, would hear a wide range of cases suitable for compromise. These include criminal and civil disputes, property division, family maintenance issues, matrimonial matters, cheque bounce cases, and bank recovery suits.
SI Saidaiah urged litigants to view the National Mega Lok Adalat as a valuable opportunity for faster and fair justice. He advised the public not to prolong small cases, as it wastes time and money. Instead, he encouraged people to use this judicial platform to avoid unnecessary court rounds and find closure.
