Seethakka directs officials to speed up Mulugu model bus stand works

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka directed officials to complete the Mulugu model bus stand project quickly while maintaining construction quality. On Thursday, she inspected the ongoing work in the Mulugu district headquarters alongside District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadevarao.

During the visit, Seethakka examined the flooring, construction and other ongoing works. She asked officials to explain which components they had completed and what work remained.

The minister said bus stations played an important role in providing better transport facilities. Therefore, she instructed officials to plan the remaining work around passengers’ needs and give construction quality as much attention as speed.

Mulugu model bus stand must provide essential passenger facilities

Seethakka directed officials to monitor the project regularly at the site. She also stressed the need for safe flooring so passengers could move through the bus stand without risk.

In addition, she asked the department to prioritise essential amenities, including drinking water, toilets, seating and electric lighting. These facilities, she said, should meet the needs of people using the station.

The minister called for coordination among the departments involved. She instructed officials to finish the remaining work and take the necessary steps to open the bus stand for public use.

District Library Corporation chairman Banoth Ravichander and Market Committee chairperson Rega Kalyani attended the inspection. Panchayat Raj director Byreddy Bhagwan Reddy, local public representatives and concerned officials also took part.
