Hyderabad: The Seerah Expo 2025, themed “The Seerah – Reflects the Qur’an,” concluded in Hyderabad after drawing thousands to the two-day event at the Grand Imperial Function Palace, Chaderghat. Organised by Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Malakpet, the expo aimed to showcase how the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ mirrors the Qur’anic message.
Janab Mohammed Azharuddin, Ameer-e-Halqa of JIH Telangana, presided over the programme. Malakpet MLA Janab Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala attended as chief guest. The event began with an address by Janab Muhammad Mujeeb ul Aala, Ameer-e-Muqami, Malakpet. Janab Syed Md Abdul Quader Naser coordinated the overall proceedings.
Expo highlights creativity, technology, and spirituality
The expo featured 50 handmade Seerah models created by children and GIO girls. Each exhibit illustrated key moments from the Prophet’s ﷺ life. Alongside these, a standee display traced historical milestones. Competitions based on Seerah themes were held across Malakpet, and winners received prizes during the closing ceremony.
Additionally, the expo included a short film on the Seerah. Visitors also experienced a virtual reality tour of the Madinah Mosque, which allowed them to explore the sacred site using immersive digital tools.
Strong public participation
The event drew a diverse audience of families, youth, and scholars. Organisers said the Seerah Expo 2025 successfully combined creativity, technology, and faith. They also thanked attendees for their enthusiastic participation and support, which made the programme impactful and spiritually meaningful.
