Hyderabad: A 60-year-old security guard was killed and died on the spot after being hit by a speeding brick-laden lorry at Aramghar crossroads on Saturday morning. This tragic incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Attapur police station.
According to SI Parvathi Yadav, the deceased, Krishna, was a resident of Chandrayangutta. He had been working as a security guard at an apartment complex near Aramghar for some time. While crossing the road at the busy junction, Krishna was struck by a lorry (registration number TG 5T 5229). The lorry was speeding from TDP Crossroads toward Bahadurpura.
Police register case, hunt for absconding driver
The collision caused severe head injuries, leading to Krishna’s death on the spot. After receiving information, police reached the scene and shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace the absconding lorry driver.
