Hyderabad: A Saroornagar house blast severely damaged a residence on Tuesday, while the family inside escaped without injuries. Police launched an investigation after the explosion destroyed parts of the house and triggered panic in the locality.
The blast occurred at the residence of retired bank employee Devender on Road No. 4 in Saroornagar. The explosion damaged walls, doors and windows.

Despite the force of the blast, all family members escaped safely. During the preliminary inspection, officials found the gas cylinders, refrigerator and geyser intact. As a result, the cause of the explosion remained unclear.
Meanwhile, police and HYDRAA personnel reached the scene and began an investigation. Authorities registered a case and are examining the source of the mysterious explosion.
