Rs 100 crore approved for road development in Andole constituency

Hyderabad: Andole road development received a major boost after the Telangana government accorded administrative approval for road infrastructure works worth Rs 100 crore in the constituency.

The approvals came under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy following the initiative of Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha. The sanctioned works include road widening, strengthening and bridge construction on three major routes.

The government approved Rs 30 crore to widen the Maktakyasaram–Munipalli road via Garlapalli and Allapur from a single lane to a double lane.

Further, it sanctioned Rs 40 crore for widening and strengthening the Sangupet–Pocharam road from 0/0 to 18/0 kilometres. The allocation also covers the widening of the Minpur–Mudimanikyam road from 0/0 to 3/3 kilometres from a single lane to a double lane.

The government also approved Rs 30 crore for the Narsingi–Shankarampet road from 0/0 to 11/0 kilometres. The project includes road widening, strengthening and the construction of high-level bridges.

Meanwhile, the total value of the sanctioned works stands at Rs 100 crore. The projects aim to improve road connectivity and strengthen transport infrastructure across the Andole constituency.

The approvals are expected to enhance connectivity for residents and facilitate safer travel on key roads in the constituency.
