Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed ministers and MLAs from the undivided Mahabubnagar district to complete land acquisition for irrigation projects on a war footing.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with ministers and legislators from the undivided Mahabubnagar district at MCRHRD. During the meeting, he issued key directions regarding irrigation projects in the Palamuru region.
Revanth Reddy instructed officials and public representatives to closely monitor the land acquisition process linked to the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. He said the process must be completed without delay.
Palamuru project land acquisition to be expedited
The Chief Minister also directed authorities to speed up land acquisition for other irrigation projects in the district. He assured ministers and legislators that the government would ensure immediate release of funds to avoid delays in compensation payments.
Further, Revanth Reddy said the state government was ready to clear pending bills related to other irrigation works in the district.
Palamuru project land acquisition progress under review
The Chief Minister asked district ministers to regularly review irrigation projects with concerned officials. He said ministers should continuously monitor the progress of works across the undivided Palamuru district.
Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari attended the meeting. Government Whip Yennam Srinivas Reddy and several MLAs also participated. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao was present during the review.
