CM Revanth Reddy meets Norway envoy on cooperation plans

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held a Norway envoy meeting with May-Elin Stener on Monday, as both sides discussed cooperation and investment prospects in Telangana.

The Norwegian Ambassador, accompanied by her delegation, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The Norway envoy meeting indicated Norway’s interest in using Telangana as a key hub for its planned investments in India.

Senior officials also attended the meeting. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and Principal Secretary to the CMO Seshadri were present during the discussions.

Norway envoy meeting highlights investment intent

During the Norway meeting, the delegation signalled its intent to explore Telangana as a primary destination for future investments. Therefore, the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Norway and the state.

The meeting remained a formal engagement, with both sides exchanging views on potential areas of collaboration. The meeting formed part of ongoing diplomatic outreach aimed at boosting economic partnerships.

The interaction underlined Telangana’s position as an emerging investment destination. Meanwhile, officials indicated that further engagements could follow based on the outcomes of the  meeting.
