Revanth announces foreign language training for nursing students

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced foreign language training for nursing students, saying the state government would set up facilities to teach Japanese, Korean and German to support overseas job aspirations.

He said foreign language skills were essential for students to compete in a globalised job market. The Chief Minister stressed that trained nurses from Telangana had strong employment prospects abroad, especially in countries facing shortages in healthcare staff.

Revanth Reddy announced while interacting with students at a nursing college in Khammam district on Sunday. He said the government would extend language training support to nursing students, including those studying at Yedulapuram nursing colleges.

The Chief Minister stated that there was significant demand for nurses in Japan, South Korea and Germany. He said language proficiency would help students secure employment and integrate smoothly into healthcare systems in those countries.

Foreign language training to boost global nursing careers

Referring to his recent foreign tour, Revanth Reddy said several people abroad had praised the professionalism and dedication of Indian nurses. He said the state government aimed to convert this global goodwill into concrete job opportunities for nursing students.

He reiterated that the Congress government had accorded top priority to healthcare and education. Doctors and nurses, he said, played a critical role in society and deserved institutional support to grow professionally.

Expressing confidence in the youth, the Chief Minister said nurses from Telangana would continue to enhance the state’s reputation worldwide through their service and skills.
