Regional Dak Adalat on November 6 to address postal complaints in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Postmaster General, Headquarters Region, Hyderabad, will conduct a Regional Dak Adalat on November 6, 2026, to address public grievances concerning postal services. The virtual hearing will begin at 11 AM, while the deadline for submitting complaints is November 4.

Residents of seven districts can participate in the grievance redressal exercise. These include Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Vikarabad and Siddipet.

The postal department has invited complaints from residents experiencing problems with postal services. However, applicants must submit their grievances within the prescribed deadline to participate in the hearing.

How to submit complaints for Regional Dak Adalat

Residents can submit their complaints either through postal correspondence or email. However, each applicant must use only one submission method.

Those choosing postal submission should address their written complaints to the Assistant Director of Postal Services-II, Office of the Postmaster General, Headquarters Region, Jamai-Osmania Post Office Building, Hyderabad–500007.

Alternatively, applicants can email their grievances to [dakadalathqrhyd@gmail.com]. Email submissions must include “DAK ADALAT COMPLAINT” in the subject line or as the first line of the message.

Furthermore, complainants must provide their mobile number, email ID and complete postal address. These details will enable officials to communicate with applicants regarding the hearing.

The department will share the virtual meeting link with complainants, allowing them to participate remotely.

Complaints excluded from the grievance hearing

The Regional Dak Adalat will address complaints related to postal services within the seven specified districts. However, grievances involving staff matters, service-related matters and cases pending before courts will not be considered during the proceedings.

The department has also specified that complainants should avoid submitting the same grievance through both post and email. The hearing will take place virtually at 11 AM on November 6, following the November 4 complaint submission deadline.
