Hyderabad: Health Minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha on Tuesday directed officials to expedite Warangal hospital works ahead of the proposed inauguration of the Super Speciality Hospital. Construction agencies assured him that they would complete all facilities required for outpatient services by November 15.
The Minister issued the directions during a review meeting at the Secretariat with senior Health and Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department officials.
He examined the progress of construction projects at Warangal Super Speciality Hospital, TIMS Alwal and TIMS LB Nagar. The review also covered floor plans and preparations to begin medical services in the first phase.
Warangal hospital works to be completed for OP services
Rajanarasimha instructed officials to accelerate pending construction and infrastructure works at the Warangal Super Speciality Hospital. He stressed that departments and construction agencies should complete the remaining tasks on a war footing before the proposed inauguration.
The Minister also reviewed the hospital’s operational requirements, particularly the facilities necessary to launch outpatient (OP) services. Accordingly, he directed officials to ensure that patient registration counters, consultation rooms and pharmacies were ready for use.
Additionally, he asked them to complete diagnostic facilities and supporting infrastructure required for outpatient operations. The review focused on ensuring that the hospital could begin its first phase of services with the necessary facilities in place.
Construction agencies promise November 15 deadline
Representatives of the construction agencies assured the Minister that they would complete the Warangal hospital works necessary for OP services by November 15. The assurance covered infrastructure required to support patient registration, medical consultations, pharmacy services and diagnostic examinations.
Meanwhile, Rajanarasimha examined the floor plans to assess the hospital’s readiness for the proposed first-phase launch. He directed senior officials from the Health and R&B departments to speed up pending tasks and prepare the required facilities.
TIMS Alwal and LB Nagar projects also reviewed
Apart from the Warangal hospital, Rajanarasimha reviewed construction progress at TIMS Alwal and TIMS LB Nagar. The Minister examined the status of these projects alongside the Warangal Super Speciality Hospital during the Secretariat meeting.
Senior officials from the Health and R&B departments participated in the review and discussed construction progress and operational preparations. The Minister’s directions placed immediate emphasis on completing the facilities required to launch outpatient services at Warangal by November 15.

వరంగల్ సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ హాస్పిటల్‌ను త్వరలో ప్రారంభించనున్న నేపథ్యంలో హాస్పిటల్‌లో ప్రతి ఫ్లోర్ ప్లాన్‌ను మంత్రి పరిశీలించారు. తొలుత అవుట్ పేషెంట్ వైద్య సేవలు ప్రారంభించనున్న నేపథ్యంలో, ఇందుకు అవసరమైన రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ డెస్క్‌లు, ఓపీ కన్సల్టేషన్‌ రూమ్‌లు, ఫార్మసీ, డయాగ్నస్టిక్స్‌ తదితర సేవలకు సంబంధించిన పనులన్నీ పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులకు మంత్రి సూచించారు. ఈ నెల 15వ తేదీ నాటికి అవుట్ పేషెంట్ సేవలకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని పనులు పూర్తవుతాయని నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు మంత్రికి వివరించారు. 6 ఆపరేషన్ థియేటర్లు సైతం సిద్ధమవుతాయని తెలిపారు. ఒక్కసారి పేషెంట్ హాస్పిటల్‌కు వచ్చాక, మరో హాస్పిటల్‌కు రిఫర్ చేసే ప్రసక్తే ఉండకూడదని, అవసరమైన అన్ని రకాల వైద్య సేవలు అందించే విధంగా హాస్పిటల్‌లో సౌకర్యాలు ఉండాలని మంత్రి సూచించారు.
ప్రభుత్వం నియమించిన డాక్టర్ల బృందం వరంగల్ హాస్పిటల్, అల్వాల్, కొత్తపేట టిమ్స్ హాస్పిటళ్లను రెగ్యులర్‌‌గా విజిట్ చేయాలని మంత్రి ఆదేశించారు. అల్వాల్ టిమ్స్ పనులు సైతం చివరి దశలో ఉన్నాయని అధికారులు మంత్రికి వివరించారు. ఎక్విప్‌మెంట్ ఇన్‌స్టాలేషన్‌ జరుగుతోందని తెలిపారు. ఈ ఏడాది మార్చి నాటికి ఎల్‌బీ నగర్ టిమ్స్ పనులు చివర దశకు వస్తాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. పనులన్నీ స్పీడప్ చేయాలని, వీలైనంత త్వరగా హాస్పిటళ్లను ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొచ్చేందుకు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని అధికారులను మంత్రి ఆదేశించారు.— Damodar Raja Narasimha (@DamodarCilarapu) November 3, 2026
