Hyderabad: Telangana Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy launched the latest edition of the bilingual Press Club Journal on Saturday, reaffirming the State government’s commitment to the welfare of journalists under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Unveiling the journal at the Secretariat, the minister lauded the Hyderabad Press Club’s initiative to publish the journal in both Telugu and English every month. He said it was commendable that the publication covers timely issues concerning journalists.

Press Club president S. Vijayakumar Reddy and general secretary Ramesh Varikuppala briefed the minister on the welfare initiatives rolled out during the first three months of the new governing committee’s term. They highlighted the launch of an insurance scheme for all members, which they said would be of significant benefit.
The minister assured full government support for Press Club programmes aimed at journalist welfare. Several office-bearers and committee members, including vice presidents A. Rajesh and Aruna Attaluri, joint secretary Chilukuri Hariprasad, treasurer Ramesh Vaitla, and members Shankar Sheeg, N. Umadevi, Rachana Mudumbai, Vanam Nagaraju, and Amit Battu attended the event.
