Hyderabad: Tollywood star Akkineni Nagarjuna on Wednesday called on Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu at his official residence in Praja Bhavan, personally inviting him to his son Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming wedding.
Nagarjuna handed over the invitation during the brief visit and extended warm regards on behalf of the Akkineni family. The Deputy CM, in turn, conveyed his blessings and best wishes for the couple.
This comes days after Nagarjuna met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence on May 31, where he extended the same invitation in the presence of his family members. The actor has been personally meeting the key leaders ahead of the high-profile wedding.
Akhil, the younger son of Nagarjuna, is set to tie the knot soon, and preparations are reportedly underway for what is expected to be a grand ceremony attended by celebrities, politicians, and film industry stalwarts.
