Musi River flooding intensifies after release from Osman Sagar and Himayathsagar

Hyderabad: The River Musi surged dangerously on Saturday, flooding several localities after authorities released heavy inflows from Osman Sagar and Himayathsagar.

Floodwater submerged parts of Langar Houz and Bapu Ghat. Water pooled under a flyover nearby, making the area resemble a lake. Residents panicked as the river gushed through surrounding colonies. Police patrolled the area, issued warnings, and urged people to stay alert.
